We realize that some people have challenges doing things on their own that many of us take for granted. Our personal care service provides assistance with going to the bathroom, bathing, getting dressed, walking, handling mail, answering the phone, reminders to take medication, and doing simple chores that our clients may have challenges doing on their own.
If your loved one has a disability, recovering from a procedure, or is just experiencing challenges from aging, we can help him/her maintain their comfort of living at home, without them having to worry about the necessary things to maintain their lifestyle being done.
There is a strict process in performing most personal assistance activities. For example, when we have a client that needs assistance in toileting, our caregiver is required to toilet your loved one in a structured way. This not only helps prevent injuries with your loved one as well as our caregivers but also makes the process more comfortable as well. It is also common for emotional bonding taking place during this activity as well as your loved one will feel cared for.
Since activities, like the one, just mentioned, are very structured, our caregivers are well trained in all the tasks that are required of them to make your loved one as comfortable as possible. Their training for these activities is either overseen by a Registered Nurse, or by experienced caregivers. It is also very common that our clients who require personal assistance require all of our other services as well, such as
companionship activities, driving to run errands, picking up items, light housekeeping, pet care, and chores.
